The album was recorded at David Baron’s studio in Boiceville, upstate New York in between Conrad’s various stints at sea. With the album now cut into its final version and set for release on the 22nd October 2021.
It started as an EP but quickly turned into an album after Simone suggested a few songs in. I am not exactly the standard type of guy they work with Simone Felice and David Baron. Simone Produced the No 1 US/ UK Lumineers album Cleopatra, David Baron, a distinguished composer who has worked with everyone from Lenny Kravitz to Bat For Lashes. Dropping into their world and having my time in a real studio was an outstanding and unique experience. Making the album was mainly about having a piece of physical work I could be proud of, the feedback from friends, family and work colleagues, the only real people I have shared it with so far has been positive, mainly that they can quickly connect to it as a raw and honest piece of work, that’s something that I am very proud of
